KOAs are convenient for long-distance camping travel. We’ve found our KOA membership to be worth the price for cross-country adventuring and they are usually easy on/off the highway
If you’re planning to visit more than one National Park in a season, the National Park pass is a must-have to not only save money but to support the phenomenal park resources in the US. Due to COVID, you may want to order your pass a few weeks earlier. You can also purchase the pass right in the National Park if you need to. Current cost is $80/year for a vehicle that includes up to four adults. Children under 16 are always free.
